I wanted some variety to the goods that villagers could buy, to complement the Clothing production chain. Furniture is produced at a Joiner's Workshop using cloth and planks as inputs. You can sell furniture for 10 gold to commoners and above. The Joiner's Workshop becomes available when you have 5 Commoners.

There are two different buildings available as workshops, you can build one or both (or even more) as a single workshop complex.

You can also add an optional selling area to the front of the workshop, to sell the furniture directly to the public without having to use warehouses and markets. Warehouse workers will still collect furniture but this can cut out a step in the supply chain if desired. One selling area can collect furniture to sell from multiple workshops.

I wish that the furniture was a rare goods item instead. :)

A mere tweak in the code and your wish shall be granted.. look for the part that says "RESOURCE_TYPE" and change it to "LUXURY".

The colors of your pictures are weird. Is it intended ?

Which colours which you prefer were changed?

The new pictures seem better: less "dirty"

Hey, can you change to face the shopper and not the back? It looks a little funny. :) Dropbox.com

Sure! I was trying to get the seller to stand forward but then the buyers do too.

Can you check the mod after the update? I'm kicked out of the game when it's updated. It doesn't help to remove MOD - I have one building in the game

You will need to delete any furniture buildings, save the game, then update the mod and rebuild them.

If you've already updated the mod and want to load a saved game, you'll need to load version 1.0.0 manually to do the above.

You can download v1.0.0 in the files listed above.
Next open the folder Documents/Polymorph Games/Foundation/mods/146862 and delete everything that is there.
Then place the v1.0.0 zip you downloaded inside this folder and right click it -> choose "extract here".

Is this what one has to do whenever someone makes an update to a favorite mod, if you want to keep your current game save? Seems like a real pain in the butt! :)

Or you can just keep version 1.0.0 once you've re-installed it manually.

Thank you. I forgot about this possibility
