Currently for game version 1.9
Modus "No sandbox" by default. See mod "Stone Gate Sandbox Option" to change.
Modus "Organic and Manual set" by default. See mod "House Addition Manual Only Option" to change.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Organic Modus : The game choose at random from these new models (or from the vanilla models).
Manual Modus : You set manually these new models via the menu Building - Mods - House Addition. Indeed the usual conditions for populating the houses still apply (Status of the villager, desirability, distance to workplace).
House Level 1: for serfs; level 2: for commoners or citizens.

How do I change modes?
1
Sorry, I am just aware of my bad translation: read "modus" instead of the french "mode"
1
As said in description , See mod "Stone Gate Sandbox Option" and "House Addition Manual Only Option": the mere presence or absence of these mods in your game mod edit list changes the modes.

When using manual mode do these houses get populated with villagers?
1
yes, as said in the description (you need usual conditions: residential area, desirability depending of the rank of the villager, distance to workplaces

[EN] Hello, I have a remark concerning this mod, which is very nice ... when you want to manage the villagers of these houses, you can see their names BUT not their jobs. It would be wise for this to appear as well because it is easier to see which villager/profession is close to the house so that the villagers do not have too much distance to cover ^^

Thank you for your feedback.
This is the same as the vanilla game, so this should be more a general game suggestion than a mod suggestion (currently there is no way to do it by mod)
You can see the job of an inhabitant by clicking on his name.

hey vjraymon, I love this mod because I like a nice uniform residential area. :) Any chance this could support Bat's household servants and cottage industries? I have both of those after this mod when loading.
1
If the Bat's mods are loaded after this one, you have to ask for bat's mod modifications

Hi, very nice to have more variations on houses, good job! I want to try it, but first need to know if your houses can also upgrade like the default ones. It seems like some other houses mods have issues with house upgrades. Might be a bug/limitation with the current game API.
1
For the manual placement it's the same limitations as in vanioville mod.
For the organic placement, it's the same as vanilla houses
1
maybe add this to the level 2 houses instead of the newcomer ones, to better match the pattern/theme?
1
I have the following criteria: houses for serfs have one simple floor, Houses for citizens have 2 floors

awesome mod! i use it all the time to fill the gaps in between houses. Could you add the other upgraded houses to this mod as well would be awesome!
1
Thank you for your feedback. What are the "other upgraded houses" you are talking about ? Have you some screenshots please ?
1
I send you the screenshots of the houses i mean thanks for replying!
1
Seems the vanilla houses assets are not exposed yet. We can only add our own models to the lists of random set
1
I have just checked again: should appears in build -- mods
1) Have you added the mod correctly ? (see Youtu.be )
2) Have you finished the tutorial ?
1
Yeah, all good, it loads, just doesn't show.
Been out of the Tutorial for a while now.
Maybe it's because I don't have a normal warehouse? It got removed in favour of Batyushkis storage warehouses during expansion of land?
1
Do you see the icon under build -- mods ?
1
No. I wonder if I've simply added it too late in game? I'll test a new start with same mods and see how that works.
1
Can you go under the discord official foundation serveur ? Discord.gg
It's easier to share data
2
just in case: have you read the video untill the end, and added House addition in the mod list of your game ?
1
Yup, on way in.

In game i played until in need houses for villagers and have to use the stupit zone automatic. And stoppt
ideas what i make wrong?
1
I think you have to finish the tutorial first
2
thanks, thats was my problem :)
Best mod for this game for me!
1
Is it possible to add the vanilla housing models as well, since batyushki wont be updating his placeable house mod?
1
I don't know how he made that. I will try.
1
I added manual placement of random part. If you fire enough parts, you can get the vanilla houses.
BUT, as Batyushki said, vanilla houses have no basement, so take care of the slopes !
1
wow that was quick! appreciate the effort!
1
Hi, first of all: Thank you for this great mod! After the new update it says :"Adds taxation on manually placed houses". but the taxes are not beeing stored in the houses and therefore the tax collector can't collect anything. Am i misunderstanding the release notes?
1
About the latest patch (4.3.6) please, take care it involves a break with the saved games in 1.9.
1
This should work only with 1.9 preview. I am going to check again
1
I found the tip: CTRL SHIFT R to update
2
It fixes it, perfect. Thank you very much!
1
you are welcome

Working fine here now vjraymon, thank you for helping out, entirely a OneDrive issue.
1
I love your mods, but when one of the new houses is built, a post appears and hovers in the air over the house. It's like I have a group of little wooden post angels looking over my village. Am I the only one with this issue? Solution? Thanks!
1
I recheck and don't see anything abnormal. Have you a snapshot please ?
1
I'll have to restart the map. I created a village on a stock map and it was fine, so it was only happening on a mod map.
1
Screenshot sent
1
Fixed, could you retry please ?
2
All good now. Thanks! Your mods are great!
1
So helpfull, thanks a lot. I forgot to mark the building site of some houses as living area and then i was wondering why they complain about missing comfort.
Just in case anyone else has the same issue.
