While it is not possible yet to have servants buy food and other items for upper-class villagers, this mod does add Household Servants who work in Commoner and Citizen houses. A house with two inhabitants will take one servant, and a house with six inhabitants will take three servants.

Commoners and Citizens will go home to satisfy their need for Household Servants.

Click on a house to employ servants there, or use the Workplaces menu in the Book. The Lord Manor can also employ Servants.

Servants are paid 2 gold coins each time their services are used, so this mod will add to your income. It will also boost employment and consumption.

Servants do not live in the same houses as Commoners and Citizens - they still need their own houses. Servants must be Newcomers or Serfs.

Grumblerbear It won't work with Placeable Houses mod, in that case you have to use Lord Manor rooms to add more servants nearby. I will work on making it work with Vanioville manually-placed houses, but haven't gotten to that just yet.

devs fix fuel bug, but this mod work wrong or now good?

FYI - this mod is subject to the same bug affecting the Fuel mod in game version 1.8 - the servants will work and produce more service than the maximum allowed by their workplace. This can lead to a build-up of unused service in houses. Hopefully this will be fixed by the developers soon.

so strange, if other modded resources working fine (eq ceramic), why this (and fuel) not work? or its bug for workerplaces who produces and trades resource at the same time? why then not divide these jobs?

Grumblerbear these are a special type of workplace - they both produce and sell a resource. (like combined market stall / production). Apparently the devs did not account for such workplaces in the latest update.

You could divide the jobs, but in the case of both it becomes unnecessarily complex. For example fuel: you need to fulfill fuel before you have a warehouse, but market carts will only pull from a warehouse. And you can't lock the need until later, because wood is unlocked as soon as you have a woodcutter. Same with household servants, it doesn't make sense to have a servant perform work and then put that work in a warehouse, and sell it at a market.

The devs have promised to try to fix this.

Sounds great. I'm assuming it only works with a new save? When I tried to load an existing save I got:

kipstafoo do you have Common Resources V1 loaded before this mod? I think that's what is missing.

You were right... I was missing the latest CR v1. Once I updated, the mod loaded. Thanks :)
