Mods by Batyushki

This mod provides visual clutter for your towns, with an opportunity to harvest additional resources.

Each day a small percentage of villagers will throw out broken pottery, crates, chairs, stones, and broken stone bricks. These items can be left to create visual clutter, or you can assign Rubbish Collectors to gather rubbish in their area. Rubbish is recycled into Wood, Stone and Iron bars. Ten items of rubbish will produce 4 wood, 2 stone and 1 iron bar.

Items that are inside a building zone will not be collected by the Rubbish Collector. Rubbish itself does not have a collision zone, so it will not prevent people from accessing doors or gates.

Rubbish slowly builds up until it reaches a maximum point, after this old items of rubbish will be deleted and new ones added each day.

Hey a question. I'm using this mod but at the Rubbish Collector pile it says that there's no resources to extract.

Is there any way to fix this?

Elchardus @elchardus

Hello, is the spawning of clutter in general linked to population numbers or the building of certain list of buildings? Like begin spawn at 10 pop or begin spawn after both planks, stone and pottery buildings have been build (as in all three buildings have to be placed to begin clutter in general, not link pottery clutter to clay, furniture to planks and stone to mine which would be overkill.)

Batyushki @batyushki

Hi there, the system is quite simple: the number of items is just % of the total population. The items spawned are random regardless of what you have spawned.

niocco @niocco

Hello, i'm usibng thismod which is great but it seems i encountered a bug: the worker stopped to collect rubish, he just stand in front of his workplace, despite there are rubbish accumulating just next to him.
It worked during hours in my game and stopped suddenly
Did you experience this already ?

Batyushki @batyushki

Hi niocco probably the workplace is full. There is an issue right now where he can only have 50 total resources in his inventory. This will be fixed in a future game version but for now, clear out his workplace to warehouses and he should start working again.

Sacrillegos @sacrillegos

Hey, I made a Turkish localisation for your mod.

Batyushki @batyushki

Hi Sacrillegious, thank you for your contribution. I do have about 65 active mods and I use a translation tool to localise in 6 languages. It isn't practical for me to include Turkish in all my mods but you are welcome to share your localisation files with the language community on Discord.

This mod is rubbish.... AND IT'S AWESOME!

Tazmanyak @tazmanyak

You are so creative!
This is amazing ♥

Tazmanyak @tazmanyak

Could this system be used to let villagers decorate their houses gadens?
Some automatic placement of random bushes/flowers/trees and/or even some furnitures?

Batyushki @batyushki

I've thought of that, possible definitely. Just some props around the house to make it less bland. This mod doesn't check for collision zones, doing so is more performance intensive. For a house I think you would need to check though.

Tazmanyak @tazmanyak

That would be another cool mod imo :)
And could also see workplaces drop a few items related to their work in their backyard
Would definitly add a bit of "life" to my towns i"m so bad at decorating myself eheh :-(

mat49a2 @marek-tarnacki

If I could make a suggestion - it would be useful to have a "cleaning zone" when constructing a building. At the moment you don't know in which area the cleaner will work, and where you have to put another building. Cool mod :)

Batyushki @batyushki

I tried something like this but it led to crashes the way I implemented it.

mat49a2 @marek-tarnacki

Maybe one day you'll find a solution :)

Grumblerbear @grumblerbear

not loaded with old save

Batyushki @batyushki

Thanks, I forgot to load the new version of Common resources. It should work now.
