The Stone Gate Set mod is under complete refactoring. I upload this first step for trial purpose. All your feedbacks are welcomed.

The versions V4 and V5 are independants. They can be used standalone, or both in the same game.

CAUTION: This mod is subject to change. I am going to do my best, but there still might be some breaks in the future. Please, read the change logs for further informations (section Releases, option on the right of the file names).

Currently there are:

- 3 building shapes: Main (3x2), Keep (2x2) and Small squared tower (1x1).

- 2 draw bridges,

- options for simple ramparts, hoardings and roof. Machicolations for keep and main building.

- decorations: doors, windows and flags.

The player's building way I anticipate is the following, but feel free to try any combination:

1) Set the core of a building to be added to a monument and adjust its height.

2.a) Add the simple ramparts (optional)

2.b) Add the wooden hoardings (optional, need the simple ramparts). For Keep and Main buildings this is a little bit tricky: the hoardings should be set on a rampart side. See the picture.

2.c) Add stone machicolations (optional): set first the platform of machicolation (instead of the simple ramparts) and then set the right length of crenations on each side.

3) Add the roof (optional)

4) Rotate the building and snap it to the monument.

6) Add flags and decorations (optional)

On going:

- small gate, octogonal tower and walls,

- stone machicolations on small squared tower

- assignment of soldiers.

This time the question about flags - aren't flagpoles in the palace too long? Compared to the mast on the left side of the tower with SG V4, the masts in SG V5 are several times longer.

I remember that there is an interface break about the pole flag introduced with the ramparts. So could you try to delete your poles, and reset its please ?

Pretty architecture ! But why do you use an alignment of small squared tower, instead of a wall ? I can't easily copy a model from V4 to V5 or from V5 to V4: they don't share the same dimensions and it will not fit. The V5 is a complete refactoring. I am not going to maintain the V4.

Well, I planned to keep enhancements for V5, else people never go to V5. Anyway you can mix in your game elements of V4 and V5. Pleaqse, could nyou check if it snaps ?

It's not gonna work. In order to do as you write (I think I understood correctly), you would have to open two construction windows at the same time to make both nodes work. And it can't be done. More precisely - windows will open, but nodes don't "catch" elements from another monument.

Thank you for your feedbacks and suggestions. With the version 5.0.2 you have the possibility to build a T-shaped building. I am currently working on the L-shape (and so the U-shape) but I am still dealing with the architecture of this new mod. I am going to introduce soldiers only once the PATH system is upgraded by the DEV.
