It needs the version V3 of the mod Window Decorations

Appears standalone in Building -- Mods and in vanilla Wooden Keep monument.

Modus "No sandbox" by default. See mod "Stone Gate Sandbox Option" to change.

CAUTION:

A message in <your disk, likely C>:/users/<your name user>/Documents/Polymorph Games/Foundation/modding.log will warn you if your installed "Windows Decoration" haven't a good version. Please, ask on the official discord Discord.gg if you don't know how to read this log.

The scaleable parts with blue print cannot be stacked over gates. you can use single floors instead..

The major attach points on the bottom of a building are duplicated. So aligning the height of two buildings needs sometimes to move up the building to attach.

The usual conditions for populating the houses still apply (Rank of the villager, desirability, residential area, distance to workplace).

Choose the doors from Fantasy Decorations to set the entrance (green arrow) outside the building.

The version V8 of this mod contains:

- a set of random generation

- 10 building shapes: Main (40x60), Keep (40x40), Small squared tower (20x20), Large (40x40) and Small (20x40) gates, Octogonal tower, Large and Small Circular Towers and Large and Small Corners for 135° angle.

- 3 draw bridges,

- options for stone or wooden floors, stairs, simple ramparts, hoardings, ramparts with machicolations and roofs

- decorations: doors, windows, flags and more.

- 22 themes of colors

This mod gives kingdom splendor, and has the same assignable functions as the vanilla lord manor and some other workplaces.

To get functions from "Entertainment Mod" you need to add it before Stone Gate Set V8.

To get functions from "Autority" you need to add it before Stone Gate Set V8.

To get doors and windows from "Fantasy Decorations" you need to add it before Stone Gate Set V8.

You have the option to define your own theme "Custom theme" by executing:

<your disk, likely C>:/users/<your name user>/Documents/Polymorph Games/Foundation/mods/1182925/CustomThemes.exe

Notes:

1: you likely have to deal with your antivirus

2: You will loose your settings each time you upgrade your mod, unless you saved and restore the file:

<your disk, likely C>:/users/<your name user>/Documents/Polymorph Games/Foundation/mods/1182925/config/mod_config.json

The building method I anticipate is the following, but feel free to try any combination:

1) Set the core of a building to be added to a monument and adjust its height (pieces with the green arrows on the preview of Edit mode)

2.a) Add the simple ramparts (optional).

2.b) Add the wooden hoardings (optional, need the simple ramparts).

2.c) Add stone machicolations (optional).

3) Add the roof (optional).

5) Add decorations (optional).

6) Assigns a function (optional)

7) With "Accesses" under the topic "Entrance" places guard positions and assigns soldiers.

For me, the mod only works with the sandbox mod - without that I can plan buildings but they are not built and I can't click them either. What am I doing wrong?

it works on my side.
check you have enough builder, gold and resources
check you are not on pause or painted in red

Hello vjraymon , Keep in mind I am still testing this out with no other mods. However, I have noticed that since the update before last, when using this mod, that my residential availability stays 'low' not matter how many available houses are available (via mods) or the base game residential area brush. As such, no new people join my village.

I figured I would let you know about this just in case you are able to see any kind of conflict. I also noticed the mod 'Magical Romany Camp' started to crash my game after the same update. I can only guess maybe it is in conflict with something with stone gate v8? I am not sure how to tell any of this besides testing my game with each mod one at a time.

Just in case: Indeed the usual conditions for populating the houses still apply (Rank of the villager, desirability, residential area, distance to workplace).
About the crash: the best is to send the notification to the DEVs (don't forget to give your email): they should have more ways to investigate than me.

Thank you, I've sent off the crash info to them. I'm still working my way through my mods, but am yet to find the culprit in terms of the mod clash. Thus far, I can't see the desirability, time to work etc as an issue.

There is a known problem with the portcullis. I am still investigating it. In the meanwhile can you remove the portcullis ?

Excuse me, but I can't speak English (only German) and therefore have to work with a translator. I hope you understand me.
Thank you very much for this wonderful mod. Very good work so far. I've built wonderful castles with it in different savegames without any problems. Recently I started a new game with my other proven mods and I'm about to build a nice castle with your mod again. A few days ago there was an update from you, which I carried out. This caused my FPS to drop a bit, but it still wasn't an issue. Today I did another update from you and I have the following problem.
Gradually the FPS gets worse and worse until Foundation crashes. After a restart it goes for a while and then this repeats itself.
I've attached the latest reports and hope you can do something with them. Without their mod, the game runs for a long time without problems.

Thank you for your report. I think I found the error and fixed it.
The problem was due to soldier or guard assigning.
I am not sure the security feature still works. Could you check please ?

Thank you very much for your quick efforts.
Apparently this was the cause. A drop in FPS to 1-5 is no longer noticeable. Also no more crashes.
However, there is still a problem.
Without your mod I have an FPS of 60-70 in the same savegame. With your mod this reduces to 20-25 FPS on my machine. I've only just started building the castle and still have a few parts to build. In addition, the following happens with their mod. If you watch the settlers walking, you will notice that they stop for a short time at a distance of about 2-3 seconds. It stops (jerks) for a short time (dropouts about 0.5 seconds). I looked at the lock file again and noticed the following. Maybe this is because. Otherwise I can send you the complete log file or the savegame if you want. But they would have to tell me how it works, or how I have to do it, because I don't have much of a clue.

Excuse me please.

Hello, I was wondering if it would be possible to add functionality to the 'top' parts of a building as you could in V7 of this mod. By the top parts I mean the white and cream coloured parts with the various wooden slats. Thank you.

Hello Vjraymon, i really appreciate so much your excellent work with Stone gate and all of your mods in general and i would like to know if there's an option to run v8 mod with saves of v7 version, i'm asking this because i was working with v7 and after the update, i lost all my walls castles ecc, a work of about 300 hours, please save me :D

sorry, there are no ways: there was too much changes from V7 to V8 to allow that.
I can only restore V7 to public in order you can reload V7 and "finish" your older games.

The stone gate V7 and window V2 was made for 1.7 and are no more sustained. Unfortunately in game version 8.1 there was a change, and the windows disappeared after a reset.
If I have enough time i will update windows V2.

Done. could you reload Windows V2 please ? In order to fix your game you need to reload from older save (saved before game version 1.8.1)
